Planificotron is a simple and free software that searches and analyzes all the possible versions of a schedule, to offer you the one that will best meet the objectives set, respecting working times, unavailability and the allocation of tasks for each staff member.
While some of its functions will require some getting used to, its handling is quick and facilitated by a small tutorial that allows you to follow step-by-step examples.
It will not be suitable for all sectors of activity, in particular because of its simplicity. Intended for small structures (20 people max.), it will find its usefulness in sectors such as catering, private security, cleaning or with nurseries for example.
