OpenSong is an application that can be used in public events where the text being read or the lyrics of the song being played need to be projected.
It was specifically conceived for liturgical celebrations, hence the songs included in its database, but it can also be used for any kind of non-religious event: poetry readings, book launches, etc.
OpenSong can also be used as a lead sheet: a document that combines the lyrics of a song with the necessary chords to play it. The resulting document can be saved in the program’s database and printed or projected on the computer’s monitor or any other supported device.
